Treatment
At Children's Therapy Center, we look at all areas of a child's functional ability. We look at the foundational pieces that are inhibiting development and work to address these barriers so that each child can reach their highest potential. The therapists at Children's Therapy Center specialize in sensory processing and treat primarily from that frame
of reference. However, we do use varied techniques in our treatment approach
depending on each child's specific needs.

-Gross Motor Skill Development
core and postural control, upper and lower body strength and endurance, balance
-Fine Motor Skill Development
hand strengthening, fine motor coordination, dexterity
-Handwriting
hanwriting without tears program, callirobics, tactile and kinesthetic learning
-Sensory Processing
praxis/motor planning, self regulation, sensory modulation,
auditory processing, spatial and body awareness
-Life Skill Building
activities of daily living such as dressing, self care, eating, etc.
